Cherie is an emerging social media app for uninfluenced beauty content. No behind-the-scenes marketers, no sponsored content, no branded partnerships…JUST independent, honest reviews and opinions within the beauty space.
For pride month, Cherie wanted to celebrate their vastly inclusive consumer base with a revamped logo.
To appeal to Cherie’s core gen-z/millennial audience, I created a logo inspired by late-90s youth culture. Part Delia*s catalog, part Lisa Frank, part rainbow-gel-pen-collection…the design is meant to inspire childhood nostalgia and delight.
In addition, I created a unique rainbow color palette and small visual toolkit for them to implement as a thematic style guide throughout the month.
